The Lafayette Airport Commission staff strives to provide and ensure a safe, secure and customer friendly environment for all of the aviation needs of Acadiana, while promoting the continuous growth and development of the Lafayette Regional Airport.
The Lafayette Airport Commission operates an airport system that provides domestic air service to the Southwest Louisiana region. The organization consists of seventeen full-time employees in a structure that includes central administration, airport management and operations. In addition to operating Lafayette Regional Airport, the Commission is also responsible for capital improvements.
