Burundaiavia Joint-Stock Company “Airline “Burundaiavia” was registered as a legal entity in October 2002. Burundaiavia provides a broad range of helicopter services in Kazakhstan and abroad including passenger and cargo air transportation, installation and construction works, offshore works, fire-fighting, Medevac, S&R and EMS operations, aerial photo and video survey flights. Entering the international helicopter services market is a priority for Burundaiavia airline in the development of its helicopter business.

Burundaiavia is the first and so far the only Kazakhstan Company registered in the United Nations Procurement Service (UNPC). At present time Burundaiavia is successfully performing helicopter operations under long-term contracts with the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Sudan. Works include missions supply, passenger transportation, delivery of humanitarian aid and food products, search and rescue operations, emergency and medical evacuation.
